You may want to check the water pump. It is located in the front of the machine on the bottom right hand side. You will need to remove the front bottom panel. Often loose change will become lodged in the pump. You should also check the soft rubber hose attached to the back of the pump. Sometimes a sock or something will get stuck in there and cause problems. The good news is that it is not too expensive to replace the water pump. I have seen the part listed for around $27.00. It is also fairly easy to get to. You will need a pair of pliers to get the pump off. Good Luck!

Won't drain properly

Hi Brian ramsden,

So i understand that your washer is not draining properly even after replacing the pump. It drains without clothes but when clothes are in the appliance it will not drain. I suggest that you contact the manufacturer or you local authorized technician for more information and assistance. This way they can get to the root of what is causing your washer to not drain properly.

-Best Regards-

There is a code on my washer ue, oe can u tell what it means and how to fix the problems

Now, about OE code check the drain pump filter: items caught in the drain filter will prevent proper drainage. Over time build up can occur from detergents and additives used in the machine. Manually drain unit through the drain hose, then lay a towel down to catch the water, and remove the filter. Clean the filter thoroughly and restart the machine.

Check the washers drain hose... if the drain hose is not installed properly, the washer will not drain properly. The drain hose should not be installed more than 1 meter higher than the bottom of the washing machine.

Confirm that the washer is leveled properly, if the unit is not leveled properly, it will not drain properly. The front of the unit cannot be higher than the back or vice versa. If not properly leveled, the water can flow back into the machine. If this is the cause of the problem, please level the machine using the supplied leveling wrench. When you place a LEVEL on the washing machine, the bubble should be in the center. Confrim that the washer is leveled from side to side and front to back.

Hope helps (remember to rate and comment this free answer)..

It wont work it flashes fl

the Fl code indicates an overfill condition. If the washer is empty, then you likely have a problem with the water level pressure switch. If the washer is full of water and will not drain, you likely have a problem with the drain pump or the washer drain line.

If the washer is full of water, make sure that the washer drain is clear and working properly. Check the drain hose for kinks or clogs. If you find no problems with these issues, I recommend that you manually drain the washer using a wet/dry shop vacuum. Check the drain pump and connecting hoses for problems. You may need to replace the drain pump of water will drain out of the washer properly but the pump will not work properly. A clog in the check ball assembly at the bottom of the tub can also prevent the washer from draining properly.

Washer will not spin out, get error message OE

An OE error indicates that the washing machine has not successfully drained the water in ten minutes. However, the OE error code does not always mean that the washer requires a service call. If periodic maintenance has not been performed on the washer, there are a few simple steps to take before calling for service.

*Step 1: Check the drain pump filter.

Items caught in the drain filter will prevent proper drainage. Over time build up can occur from detergents and additives used in the machine. Manually drain unit through the drain hose, then lay a towel down to catch the water, and remove the filter. Clean the filter thoroughly and restart the machine.

*Step 2: Check the washers drain hose.

If the drain hose is not installed properly, the washer will not drain properly. The drain hose should not be installed more than 1 meter higher than the bottom of the washing machine.

*Step 3: Confirm that the washer is leveled properly.

If the unit is not leveled properly, it will not drain properly. The front of the unit cannot be higher than the back or vice versa. If not properly leveled, the water can flow back into the machine. If this is the cause of the problem, please level the machine using the supplied leveling wrench. When you place a LEVEL on the washing machine, the bubble should be in the center. Hope this helps.. A 4 thumbs-up rating is greatly appreciated for answering your free question. Thank you in anticipation.. Good luck! ;)

Hello, my washer is flashing a code F 21 what does this mean?

The F21 error code indicates a long drain. Here are some tips that should help you resolve this problem:

Check your washer drain to make sure that it is draining properly.
Check the drain hose for kinks and clogs. Make sure that it is installed properly per the instructions in your owner's manual. An improperly installed drain hose can prevent the washer from draining properly.

Check for excessive suds in the washer tub. Excessive suds can prevent the washer from draining properly and will result in the F21 code. Make sure that you are using the proper amount of HE (High Efficiency) detergent to prevent excessive suds.

Place a shallow pan on the floor beside the washer and then pull the drain hose out and place the end of it in the shallow pan to see if the washer will gravity drain. If it does, then excessive suds or a drain pump problem could be causing this failure. If the water does not drain or drains extremely slowly, you could have a clog in the drain system of the washer.

Remove any clothes and then use a wet/dry shop vac to drain any water out of the washer.

Arrange shallow pans and/or towel in front of the large item filter shown in the second image below to catch residual water when you remove this filter.Remove the large item filter as shown below. It is likely that you will find a clog in this area that is preventing your washer from draining.

If you do not find any clog or restriction in the large item filter and none of the other issues discussed above apply to your situation, then you could have a failed drain pump. If the pump is damaged and will not pump out water then it will need to be replaced.
