IMitsubishi 62525 timer light blinks green and won't turn on

Power has been off for a while because of local flooding problems. When I tried to turn the Mitsubishi 62525 on the timer light blinks green continually and will not turn on.

The manual says that the timer light will blink green for a minute after power has been off and is turned back on and then it will go to solid green and the screen will illuminate. It has been blinking green for an hour or more.

Try a system reset by unplugging the set and waiting for about 3 min then replugging it in. If this problems persists contact mitsubshi for technical support, I have replaced entire signal board chassis for this same problem, they will run you through a few common things to try using the front panel buttons.

Problem is probly caused by FMT board or DM board - bolth are no longer available . -electrical chassis must be removed and sent in to mits. to be rebuilt. cost not including labor is 500$ . About half of then work when installed into the tv . Soooo the answer is call mitsubishi and complain until they give a real big discont on a newer model . Or find a local repair facility that is experienced with this model and will rebuild it themselves and warranty it for at least 90 days. i'd say its worth it if its only$ 500-$600 toltal!

Green blinking timer light on my WD 62525 tv

That symptom is almost always caused by bad capacitors that are known to fail through ou the five circuits boards within the chassis. Usually the DM board and The Power Board caps fail which can cause the non stop blinking timer led. You can get the V26 Chassis DM / Power repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com which has the caps with repair instructions that will often repair that issue.

TV was working earlier, today came home no green power light no nothing

I looked up the manual online - after you replace the bulb, you need to reset the bulb life timer. Using the TV remote push the menu button, SETUP menu, select the lamp reminder option to reset the hours to zero. That might help the status indicators.
