MP3 player not working properly (no summarized way to put this)

I have a slick MP3 player i purchased from the dollar store around a year ago. It worked fine for a while. Then this morning i changed the battery. When i turned it on, i got a screen that said ''file system'' and it said there were no songs on it. I put in a different nbattery, samething. Here's the interesting part, i put the old battery back in, and it works fine. to make things even more bizzare, i put even older batteries in, and it worked (i have a habit of leting my dead batteries pile up). I hooked it up to the computer and checked it out with windows explorer, and it shows up blank. WMP doesnt register it. Anyoneknow whats goin on, and how in the world does this relate to the batteries??

SOURCE: creative zen v problems-frozen

I Recently bought a Zen, and it works great. The only problem I found was that it freezes itself from time to time, and the best solution to this problem is on the bottom of your Zen, there is a very small Reset hole. With a needle or a toothpick, gently stick it in, and push lightly. This will allow the Zen to unfreeze, and return back into it's regular mode. All your files will be saved, and kept on to the Zen, so you don't need to worry about losing any of your files.

Any additional help, I'll be glad to answer!

SOURCE: Sansa m250 won't finish "finalizing update"

I had the same problem with my m250, the PC wasn't recognizing the device nor the connection. So I tried the settings of the mp3. I started by going to the menu, then settings, then USB and then selected MSC instead of Auto Detect. After that, my PC did recognized the device. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Sansa M230 not seen in Explorer or Windows Media Player

We had the same problem with Windows XP. We found some help on the Sandisk web site. On the device go to the Settings menu, then USB. We changed from AutoDetect to MSC mode and everything is working again. Our computer saw all of the songs on our computer fine. Some of the old songs on the Sansa didn't show up on the detect list in Windows Media Player, but they were still on the device.

Hello, i have a problem with my slick mp3 player. My grandma got me a slick mp3 player for christmas and it was for me. When i got hom, i opened the case up and i turned it on. I was reading the guide and...

The Slick doesn't come with a microSD card. You can buy one at just about any department, electronics, or office-supply store. You can put music and/or videos on it to effectively expand the memory. You can even use multiple cards, simply swapping them in and out when you get tired of one kind of music and want to listen to something else.

I'm telling everyone who would listen. DO NOT BUY THE DOLLAR STORE SLICK MP4 NOT 3. It is not what you think it is, it is actually a storage place for the personnel in that particular company. WORD!!!!!!!!

How do i recharge my slick 2gb mp3 music and video

Like most MP3 player with an inbuilt internal battery, your Slick 2gb mp3 music and video player will have an internal Li-Ion rechargeable battery that will be recharged via your USB Data cable while connected to an USB port on a PC/LAPTOP or USB charger.

I think i may have deleted files on my slick mp3 that should'nt have been deleted and now it will not work all it says is ''File System''.

Plug into computer check the drive c d e f and right click check explore will tell what files are on the mp3 player. Also might be able to put those files onto your computer format the mp3 player so its functioning properly and then put the files back to the mp3 player.

My new slick stick mp3 player is great but i don`t know how to put videos on it

if this is the slick stick portable MP3 player that looks like a flash drive and has a blue backlit monochrome LCD display thay your talking about then you cannot put videos on it as far as I know but ive seen this little player on a few websites and it says you can put JPEG pictures on it and supposedly display them but i doubt you can, i mean in what a 100x20 pixel screen then no jpegs will look grainy, as for the guest that posted on june 25th you can get mp3s from many different places like limewire and rhapsody mp3 store i think this player can play DRM WMA files too and you just plug this little player into your USB port and then drag and drop your tunes its that easy, this player shows up in windows as a removable drive
