After washing cycle all the water flows immediately from tub to drain pipe. If the flow capacity of sink is slow sink hole fill up with water .
Connect washing machine drain to proper place for drainage.

the load limit switch under the tub!! is bad that controls the fill level! and if its stuck closed the machine will do that its under the machine on the bottom of the tub

water will not stop running into drum unless shut off at faucet does not happen all the time and wife can't find her rubber boots

Machine is not filling with water.

the solution is so simple, you have to open it
and clean the plastic pipe that runs from the tub to the load switch, sometimes gets dirty with detergentes and mud.

Littleone.. please check your instructions.. some washers now dont need Hot water connection to them...they heat their own as part of the efficiency settings on the wash programmes themselves!

i had the same problem. but alas i had to remove pump and found my girlfreinds panties in pump. but it was easy to do. have a lot of towels handy if you do it.

You could have a hole in the pump. Check to see where the water is coming from after removing the cabinet, or tip the machine back.
