Question about Toshiba Satellite A35-S159 Notebook
When running my computer with the ac adapter plugged into the wall. After 45 minutes the battery capacity meter in my system tray shows battery remaining 99% instead of full power. I am assuming this means its running off the battery not the ac adapter. Or the battery is not charging. I have jiggled the ac adapter wires on the adapter and on the outside of the computer where it attaches, and nothing changes.
On some occasions it has gone down to 50% (while the ac adapter is plugged in) and I shut off and search for an outlet that will get it charging again.
Is this a computer problem with the ac adapter, or the dc jack or a electrical outlet problem?
Any help will be appreciated.
You forgot the most important item in the whole equation the battery. How long will the computer stay on with the battery? One quick fix,try using a toothbruch to clean the contact on the battery and on the computer. This might work.I think the computer is fine. The battery might be bad,
