To remove the impeller properly you will need a couple of specific tools. They are:

Impeller Shaft Holder - Part Number 295 000 028
Impeller Remover Tool - Part Number 295 000 001

Firstly insert the Impeller Shaft Holder on
the impeller shaft flat end.

Using the two screws previously removed from venturi,
secure the Impeller Shaft Holder onto the housing.

You will then need to heat the impeller shaft end with a propane torch to approximately 150°C (300°F) to break the Loctite bond that secures the impeller to the bolt, before to remove impeller.

Important - Do not heat the impeller directly.

Install shaft holder in a vice.

You can then loosen the impeller using the Impeller Remover Tool.

Insert the special tool in impeller splines.

Rotate the Impeller Remover Tool counterclockwise
and unscrew completely the impeller.

Never use any impact wrench to loosen the impeller.

To remove impeller, apply a rotating movement
and pull at same time. Slide impeller out of housing.

Finally remove the tool from impeller.

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
  2. If the vehicle is equipped with the underbody shield package, remove the steering linkage shield.
  3. Disconnect the camshaft position (CMP) sensor electrical connector (3).
  4. Remove the CMP sensor bolt (2).
  5. Remove the CMP sensor (1).
  6. Inspect the CMP sensor for wear, cracks or leakage if the sensor is not being replaced.

Installation ProcedureImportant: Inspect the CMP sensor O-ring for wear or damage. If a problem is found, replace the O-ring. Lubricate the new O-ring with engine oil before installing.
  1. Install the CMP sensor (1).
Important: The CMP sensor bolt has self-tapping threads, care must be taken, NOT to strip the threads when installing.
  2. Install the CMP sensor bolt (2). Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 12N•m(106 lb in).
  3. Connect the CMP sensor electrical connector (3).

Where are the crankshaft sensors on a 2001 cadillac deville sedan?

The crankshaft position (CKP) sensor is a three wire sensor based on the magneto resistive principle. A magneto resistive sensor uses two magnetic pickups between a permanent magnet. As an element such as a reluctor wheel passes the magnets the resulting change in the magnetic field is used by the sensor electronics to produce a digital output pulse. This system uses two sensors within the same housing for the V6 engine, and two separate sensors for the V8 engine. The PCM supplies each sensor a 12-volt reference, low reference, and a signal circuit. The signal circuit returns a digital ON/OFF pulse 24 times per crankshaft revolution.
    Removal & Installation

    1. Raise and support the vehicle.
    2. Remove the air deflector.
    3. Remove the oil filter adaptor.
    4. Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor electrical connector.
    5. Remove the crankshaft sensor retaining bolt.
    6. Remove the crankshaft sensor.

    To install:

NOTE Inspect the crankshaft sensor O-ring for wear or damage. If a problem is found, replace the O-ring.
    1. Lubricate the crankshaft sensor O-ring with clean engine oil.
NOTE Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
    2. Install the crankshaft sensor and the retaining bolt. Tighten the retaining bolt between 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
    3. Connect the crankshaft position sensor electrical connector.
    4. Install the oil filter adaptor.
    5. Install the air deflector.
    6. Lower the vehicle.
    7. Operate the engine and inspect crankshaft sensor for engine oil leaks.
    8. Perform the CKP System Variation Learn Procedure.
    Hope helps.

Taco pump M#fe2508e2f1f2l0a Will not pump. impellar was replaced, wear ring is grooved. could this be the problem?

Most likely the motor. Could be electrical. If it makes a humming sound, it is probably the motor. If there is no sound and no action of any kind, it is probably electrical. If it turns on and sounds like it's working but no action, it maybe the wear ring.

Grease leaking into drum under agitator cone

Remove the agitator cone. There will likely be a removable plastic piece with an O-ring. Oil could be leaking out of the O-ring into the washer, and water could be leaking into the bearings. If there is damage to the O-ring replace it, or if there is a bunch of schmag that is compromising the seal, clean it out, and re-install everything. This solved the problem in my washer; hopefully it works for you.

How do I replace starter on 2000 sportster

You must remove the primary to reach 2 bolts holding in the starter. This is a pretty big job, first completely loosen the clutch cable, remove the derby cover, disconnect clutch cable, remove inspection cover, drain primary fluid, loosen primary chain tension er, remove shifter linkage, remove primary cover ( use a Styrofoam board to place bolts in order due to different lenghts), remove ramp and ball assembly ( need snap ring plyers), using a tool to lock the clutch basket and primary drive remove bolts( I don't remember which but one removes left hand), you now can reach the bolts holding in the starter. As I stated this is a pretty big job and you should have a manuel before starting, if you don't want to buy one you can check one out at most library's. Reverse to install and remember LOCK TITE everything.

    GLD6200 NOISY

The sound is almost always caused by a worn docking cone “O” ring on the main conduit. When the docking cone “O” ring wears, the mid level spray arm conduit is no longer constrained and it can vibrate against the docking cone, making the “growling” or vibrating sound. Use a plastic wire tie to quickly verify if the growling noise is coming from a worn “O” ring. Snug the mid
spray arm coundit against the upper rack with the plastic wire tie. Run the dishwasher. If the noise goes away, you have verified the presence of a worn “O” ring. Remove the wire tie when the test is completed.
The recommended repair for this problem is to replace the WD12X10059 (titanium) or WD12X10121 (grey) docking cone. These parts supercede to the full main conduit. It is not necessary to replace the full main conduit for this problem. Remove the docking cones from both the existing and new main conduits. Install the docking cone removed from the new
main conduit on the existing conduit still installed in the dishwasher.
