Question about Dacor DMT2420 1200 Watts Microwave Oven
The microwave has power, the lights turn on and the timer counts down but the fan/ heating element never kicks on to start cooking the food. It just went past the warranty.
You may have a bad internal fuse or thermosensor. Take off the key panel. look for fuses. Also the sensor is black, about the diameter of a dime and 3/8 inch thick with two wires...attached to the oven wall. Check for continuity. Quick check, remove wires, connect with a paper clip tape up and try. Do not run with the sensor out of the circuit except to test.
