Where is thermal fuse located?

Most dryers have several thermal fuses. They are usually located on the can that houses the element. There is usually one mounted at the top of the can and one at the bottom. They are normally not resettable and manufacturers usually recommend replacing both at the same time. If thermal fuses repeatedly fail it usually indicates a clogged venting system, broken impeller or element shorting to housing.

Dryer Running, Will not heat

The Most common problem is a bad thermal fuse.

1 the thermal fuses are located in the cabinet of the dryer under the drum
they can also be located on the front of the blower wheel housing. on the back wall of the dryer or along the heating element can.
2. some kenmore, whirlpool machines have these fuses located in the rear of the machine.especially when the lint filter is located in the top of the dryer.
3. the heating element can also be bad.
4. if you have an ohm meter you can check the continuity of the thermal fuses,as well as the heating element.if there is no continuity on any of the above mentioned parts. Replace the faulty parts.

Thermal fuse

Need more info. Like, what is your question about thermal fuses?

However, while we wait, I've noticed that most thermal fuses tend to be located on the main circuit board inside the door.

Where is thermal fuse

The thermal fuse is located on the rear of the machine. Unplug the dryer, and with a 1/4 inch driver, or drill with 1/4 inch adapter, remove the 9 screws and take the back cover off. The thermal fuse that kills the dryers ability to turn on is located on the lower left side if your standing behind it. The hi-limit and temp. fuses are located on the heating element canister on the right hand side. Good luck.

No heat Is the drum turning? yes Is heat selected? yes

you will need to check the thermal fuses they are located next to the heating element. If you have a volt meter you will need to check the continuity on all the thermal fuses and the heating element replace the part that has no continuity.

There are times that the main circuit breaker can be bad you may need to check the power and make sure there is 220 volts to the unit.As you check the thermal fuses and heating element make sure the unit is unplugged

Are the thermal fuses near the coil or where the

The thermal fuse should be located near the coil. Usually just below the plate, but that all depends on the model.

I hope this helps! :)
