Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

I signed up on facebook on 9/26/09 (last night) and today I found that Facebook has confused my husband's facebook account with mine. When I input Facebook.com into my AOL browser, my husband's Facebook page comes up on the screen immediately. I can't even enter my e-mail address and verify code on the Facebook opening screen because that page doesn't come on the screen. Also when I received the "verification" request today from the Facebook staff to verify that I had set up a Facebook page, and I entered the address provided and hit "go", the screen said that my account had been verified as dickee12 (my husband's e-mail address). Someone confused our two separate email addresses and our two separate Facebook pages. Help!

Logout from his account and then log into yours. You are going to have to do this as soon as possible. If the problem persists, try using another web browser, such as Google Chrome.

Sign out of his account and log on to yours, should be that simple although confusing to find the logout button to click.

Try to open your facebook using another browser. If your husband use IE to open his facebook account and he forgot to sign out, then you can use Firefox or Google chrome to sign in your facebook account.

I have a computer at home my husband an i both have a facebook account everytime we go to get onto facebook it is loged into my name an he can not access his account how do we change it to where that does...

You will have to make sure to actually sign out of your accounts. By not signing out it leaves it locked to the last facebook account still signed into.Closing the browser alone does not log out the account.
