Make sure the flash is turned on. Look for a lightening bolt symbol.

Camera dos not want to turn on

There are three issues, the flash bulb, high voltage capacitor, and the step up transformer, any one of these will cause the flash to fail.

Can not open and store files this drive was ought in china

If it fails to work on at least three machines that are known to accept other working USB storage devices then try low-level formatting.

How to get my flat bed scanner to save in pdf format? For years I have been able to scan documents and save as pdf or choose another format such as bmp or jpeg. I have of remove the software and reload...

There are 2 steps you can do to get this option back.

First, You need to update Adobe Flash player Or you need to uninstall and Reinstall the Adobe Flash player.

Since you uninstalled the Software and and reinstalled, the Software is not able to detect the latest Adobe software in your PC.

May i know what is the operating system ?

Try this step below to update to adobe flash player if you are using Windows XP or Windows Vista
Click on START button
Click on MY Computer or Computer
Open C:/ local Disk
Open Windows Folder
Open System32 Folder
Open Macromed Folder
Open Flash Folder
You will find few flash files
Double click on file Flashutil10 and it should give you update screen. Continue and complete the process.
Restart your PC and try to Scan

If this does not work, you need to uninstall adobe flash player and reinstall it and it will work.

Regards,
Ron

My camera has focus error. How to solve the problem?

Performance wise, the camera has a couple of niggles. Start up to first shot time is around a second, and shot to shot (without flash) is good with three shots (the top three or the last three in a sequence are captured) in around 1.5 seconds unless the camera needs to refocus ort the flash fires. Flash recharge is around five seconds and disappointingly, the camera locks up as the flash charges, which is a shame.

But, focusing becomes an issue in low light too, where the camera will hunt trying to key on the subject or just continually fail to focus. So, beware in low light. There was another focus niggle on smaller subjects in macro mode where the camera would simply refuse to focus on anything in the frame smaller than the central AF area, and no matter what you do. Thanks

Replacement Battery

The **mAH factor is storage capacity- or life between charges
so a high numbers mean more pix between charges - So fine fo for it
The Voltage is critical however - it must be as stated in the manual or as the original battery

Monitor isnt showing any power

I would suspect it needs to have electronic troubleshooting done in the power supply section to find and replace the defective components. Is it possible the capacitor is in backwards?
