Good day sir/maam, the reson why it froze is caused by a bad memory module, you may need to replace it. Open up your computer and locate the memory modules, remove all memory modules and bring it to a computer vendor for testing. or if you have the cash, better buy a new one. make sure that what you install on your PC be it tested or new is good.

Aspire5250 need to reboot but don't have a reboot disk is there a way to still reboot it

If you don't have a reboot disk, you can still reboot your computer. Here's how:
- Restart your computer.
- Press and hold the Ctrl+Alt+Delete keys at the same time.
- When the Windows Security screen appears, click Restart.
- Your computer will restart without a reboot disk.

I have a Hp L1740 monitor whenever I turn it on it shows white display.

A white computer screen can appear sometimes if your graphics card is bad . If the computer screen turns white as soon as you press the Power button that's a good sign that there something is wrong with the computers graphics card.
Try Pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete.on the keyboard for your computer or try to reboot your computer too. You can fix the white screen issues here by simply using a keyboard shortcut. Try pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete all at once then when the white screen shows up.

It is frozen what do I do

You did the right thing. It should clear up when you turn it back on. The system will reboot. Hopefully it was just a glitch that could be worked out by restarting. That is often the case.

A hard shutdown (unplugging or holding in the start button) is hard on the system and can shorten your computer's life, so don't turn it off abruptly unless you have no other choice.

Try Ctrl Alt Delete first and see if you can find the frozen process. Then "end program." that might unlock you and is safer for the system. Also, from Ctrl Alt Delete, you can shut down the computer.

Do a control-alt-delete and start the task manager. Choose the processes tab and end any Firefox processes you find. Once you terminate them all, Firefox will open for you.

After running a search and clicking on one result the computer freezes. Can't exit IE or close tab. Can open tab but problem still exists. must reboot? help Running OS Vista with IE8

open the task manager by pressing CTRL,ALT and DELETE at the same time and selecting task manager, click the applications tab and select IE8, then click on end process. This will stop the need to reboot.
I have had the exact same problem and now use firefox instead, faster and simpler to use. Plus there are so many addons that you can use for downloading and speeding things up.

Cant reboot my laptop can someboby tell me how to do it with out

As a standard reboot? Click start, then turn off computer, then reboot.

If it doesn't work like that hit CTRL ALT DELETE all at the same time and then Click shut down at the top and then Restart as the option.

My Satellite A40/A45 Series won't boot up.

If NTLDR is missing, you will need to do one of two things:

1) follow this link and follow instructions to create a NTLDR boot disc and get back up and running

or

2) boot to Windows CD and repair Windows installation

Hope this helps - remember to rate :)
