Question about LaCie Ethernet Disk Mini, 500 GB Hard Disk Drive with Gigabit Ethernet & USB 2.0 Interface, 7200 rpm... IDE Hard Drive
Hi, I wanted to open a CD that came with my calculator. When I put it in, nothing would happen; no screens, no confirmations, nada. I thought it might be the disc, so I put in another CD I had, a gaming one, and nothing would show up. I went into My Computer to manually open it, but there is no option Disc Drive:E. There is only local disk C and D. Please help!
This is a general question, not with the hard drive.
Right click on "My Computer" and press "Device Manager". See if your CD drive appears in there. If it does, delete it and re-boot. The PC should find the CD as a new device and re-install standard drivers for it. Hope this helps. Ian.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
