JVC KD-AVX1. The head unit will not "turn on" when the power button is pushed. The display just stays off. The face lights up when you press the eject button and opens up and you are able to feed...

is this a headunit you have just installed? if not then I am not sure, but if it is, try swapping the red and yellow wires over. One should have permanent live, the other should be switchable. (unless you want the headunit to stay on when the ignition is off, in which case put them both to a permenant live feed.)
Hope this helps.

How do i change from Samsung keypad to qwerty keypad on a Samsung mesmerize?

hi if you hold the phone in front of you in upright position so the ear part is at the top on the bottom of the phone is at the bottom pointing downwards then all you need to do is rotate the phone anit clockwise so the ear piece is pointing to your left and the speaker facing the right you need to hold the phone upright though if its flat like is lying down then it wont change to qwerty keyboard it needs to be like, say you have a photo on a shelf but the photo is on its side in landscape view thats how u need to hold the phone, if the back of the phone is facing the floor it wont change to qwerty so the back cover of the phone needs to be facing away from you but not facing down and the screen is facing you and not facing the roof.

its hard to explain but you will get it i think,
if you have any problems give me a shout back ok

please rate this solution, thanks

In what direction to you put in the paper when sending a fax? Up or Down?Front or Back? Thanks

Up or down doesn't matter much, as the recipient can always turn the printout around :) But generally putting the documents upside down will make the fax scan the top of the page first.
As far as front/back is concerned, it depends on the construction - if you look at the document feeder you will see a symbol of a sheet with a corner bent, showing the back side. If there are stripes (symbolizing text) on that corner, you must put the document(s) face down; if the stripes are on the rest of "sheet" - put them face up.
In your case most probably it will be face down. You can always check that, and the quality of document scanning (whether the document is not too light for example) by using the "Copy" function of your fax.

Craftsman chain drive opener won't stay down

Check the down limit:
If the light bulb(s) on your operator are on the front and/or back, the limit adjustment screw is on the left side of the operator (looking from the back of the operator and facing the garage door).. If the lights are on the sides of the operator then the limit adjustment screw is on the left side (looking from the back of the operator and facing the garage door).

Check the up and down force:
On your operator (the box that hangs from the ceiling). If the light bulb(s) on your operator are on the front and/or back, the force adjustment screw is on the back of the operator. If the lights are on the sides of the operator then the force adjustment screw is on the right side (looking from the back of the operator and facing the garage door). Turn the light blue adjustment screw with the up arrow to a higher number.

In the top right corner of the display is a small button that you push in and the face will drop down, this is for putting a cd into the unit and also for taking the face off. Once the face has dropped down you just pull it off. It will come right out. To put it back on again just place it back into the holder with the right side going in first and push it until it clicks into place. It doesn't take a lot of force to put it on or to take it off. If you are still having problems with it you may need to take it in for repair. But usually if the face is having problems with how it is attached, the problem is that the face will not stay on.

Idog wont do anything

Turn on underside near front legs. TAIL CONTROLS VOLUME FRONT TO BACK. Push nose and rub face. Connect to MP3 or Ipod switch the short cord end to end and sometimes that makes a difference.
