Paper jam on printer

Apparently, you pulled out the paper with the printer on; that's wrong if so. Then it is likely you pulled it out jammed paper from the wrong side, (always pull out jammed paper in the reverse/backward direction of the paper movement). This is enough to unsettle your printer. What you should do now is shut down your computer, turn off printer. Then open all the "covers"of the printer, (top and at the back, if applicable) and close all again firmly. Turn on PC and try to print again.

check where the paper was removed, there is a switch or flag that has not been returned to it's normal operating position. (small plastic piece in the paper path) if you cannot find this, it may have been damaged. and you may have no choice but to take it to a certified repair person. make sure they guarantee their repair work.
