Question about Toshiba (MK1032GSX) 100 GB Hard Drive
Hard drive passwords are embedded in the firmware of the drive itself.
You need to try to find out what the password was.
If you put in a new drive, that drive will not contain the password routine. It is the physical drive that is password protected, not the system.
