Question about LG VX6100 Cellular Phone
I dropped my vx6100 and the phone stopped working. When the pwr button is pushed the verizon logo appears and then the message "Use genuine battery. Power off in 10". The phone cycles off. Verizon declared the phone dead.
I tried the battery in another phone and the battery was OK. Tried an new battery and got the same message. Tried running off the charger and no battery. Did not work, asked for battery. Tried battery and charger, asked for genuine battery.
I want to recover my contact info. How can I fix the phone or recover the contacts?
I folded up a small piece of paper and put it in between the battery and back case.
