Yes, the PS3 had an Integrated web browser so internet access is possible with it, you can use a usb mouse and usb keyboard as well...Its not as easily navigated as a PC but it will do most things online. Another option you have is to install Linux on the ps3 by creating a 10g partition, when you do this you loose all saved game data on your system but you can do a system backup prior to installing linux. all you need is an external usb drive to back up your system.
