Question about Sony KV-27S42 27" TV

Open Question

Turns off automatically after turning on.

It turns off automatically after turning on. I have to shake/tilt/move it to a different spot and then it stays turned on. once i put it back on to the entertainment center it turns off automatically after i turn it on.

it seems like something is loose.

i had this problem once (3 years ago) and i took to a repair shop and they told they couldnt fix it and they told me that that they would thrash it for free. I was reluctant and brought the tv back and it started working.

now i have the same problem. My friend kids me that i need to take the tv on a ride and bring back home and it should work.

please help me.

SOURCE: TV won't turn on

Unless you know Solid State Electronics, there is nothing you can do. At best, You could unplug the TV, remove the back cover, slide out the Circuit board, and check the fuses. They will be at the front of the Circuit board, left hand side. But in all likelihood, it is not just the fuses, the Power Regulator STR would also be short circuited (happens often in SONY TVs) and so it is best that a professional technician have a look.

I think you may have a cold solder joint or burned loose connection somewhere in your power supply. Also maybe a crack in the circuit board. apparently when you moved the tv you "fixed" the problem temporarily. Stargazer

SOURCE: Sony KV36HS500 won't turn on

3 times blinks shows problem of failure of IC6505 in DZ board. If you know basic electronics, open the back cover of tv and go ahead.

SOURCE: SONY KV-36HS500 will not turn

the light blinking six times indicates a probable horizontal circuit failure usually a shorted horiz out transistors but this is not the only component located in this circuit that could create this problem, sorry but i am affraid you'll need to get a tech to diagnose it to the component level or get another pc board to repair it. hope this helps some.

Took apart camera to clean put back together didn't turn on opened up moved a little it turned on but when I close it all back up it does not turn on.

Put the back on with one screw, try it. IF it works put in another screw and try it, do this until you find the problem. If you have screws that are different length, you may have one in the wrong spot.

Xbox 360 Wired Controller Busted

Yeah I foudn the problem. I just found out one of the wires was broken inside, right above where the controler meets the wire. It was a grayish wire, probably the one that turns it on. No wonder it would only turn on if the wire was in a certain position, it was connecting the wires! Problem solved.

Nikon az1 auto level

There are 2 allen screws on the fish eye bubble that can be adjusted to correct that problem.

First level the instrument;

Then turn 180 degrees

Adjust the vial until the bubble is half way from where it is back towards the inner circle.

Relevel the level using the foot screws

Then turn 180 degrees again (back to where you started)

It should be mostly fixed, however if it is not just repeat the steps above; it gets exponentially better everytime until you can no longer detect the error.

Hi Guys, here's my problem - How to lower the whisk on a KitchenAid KSM90? My whisk is not close enough to the bowl. Thanks so much, Helen

ok firstly if you have a stand mixer with the lift bowl you have to put a dime on the side of the bowl at the base and see how much clearence is needed to be taken away. if the dime gets moved the mixer is ok. if not take off the flat beater, take out the bowl, and look at the back of the stand. just below the motor about 2 inches you will see a screw. turn it to the left a quarter of a turn. dont over adjust do it slowly. if you have the one that you tilt the head back on do the same thing with the screw up to you get to the adjusting part. the screw will be in a different spot on those mixers. it is located in the neck of the mixer. it is right in the area that tilts back. the dime shouldnt fly around the bowl it should just gently get tapped. and never use the wisk when adjusting always use the flat attachment. and always adjust slowly never over adjust.
