Question about NEC /5V 073-20674-14.5A Rev51 VXi VRM (07320674145A)
WHEN I TURN IT ON THE MUTE BUTTON FLASHES FOR ABOUT 3 SECS THEN TURNS BACK OFF I WILL THANK YOU ALOT IF YOU CAN FIGURE THIS OUT FOR ME SO PLEASE FIGURE IT OUT FOR ME
That is not a problem. i have the same reciever and it has done that since i bought it. i read up on it and it is a protection feature in case you had the volume cranked when you turned it off it gives you 3 seconds to reduce volume before the amp turns on. that is why you may hear a click when the mute turns off. it is also known as soft clip because if the amp would turn on at the same time as the reciever it could cause a surge to the speakers damaging them. it is a feature not a problem.
