Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Cant sync guitar hero world tour drums

ok, first disconnect all controllers, memory card and usb controllers, just plug the drum in the usb slot.
Start up your guitar hero world tour game. The light should be solid on your usb connector. Press the button on the usb connector when it is solid. It will blink rapidly. Press the center button (PS Logo) on the drum kit once, wait about 2 or 3 seconds and press once more. Let the lights blink and when it is done, all the lights on the drum kit should be off except for the far left light. Then it is ready to go. I figured this out myself while I was on hold with tech support. good luck! I wish this post was here when I was trying to connect my drumkit! I spent over 2 hours trying to sinc it..... Guitar hero world tour ps2 2 drums brand new wont connect

They are wireless. The drums take batteries in the panel by the keypad. The wireless transceiver plugs into the USB style ports in the front of the PS2. The transceiver has a picture of drumsticks on it and a button. When you push the button it searches for a channel. Then you need to push the 'playstation' button on the drums panel to sync them up. That should work for you.

Rock band instruments will not work with guitar hero world tour

Rock Band and Guitar Hero instruments are NOT compatible on the Wii. They are compatible on the 360, the PS3, and the RB drums for PS2. Activision went their own way with the Wii and made life difficult for all of the aspiring musicians on the Wii. Sorry.
