Question about Sony VAIO VGC-RB40 PC Desktop
CD drive is stuck and will not open
Did you try the paper clip treatment?
There is usually a small pin hole somewhere on the front of such devices. Insert a straightened paperclip and release the internal catch.
I hope this works for you

1) Turn the computer off.
2) Find a paperclip.
3) Unfold the paperclip and you can insert it into a small hole on the front of the drive to remove any CD/DVD stuck inside.
4) Buy and install a new drive.
