Whenever my Kodak C763 is connected to a PC with the USB cable, it works as if it weren't connected at all, i.e. I'm able to take pictures with it, etc. If I disconnect it, the camera acts as though it's connected; the LCD screen stays black, I cannot take pictures, and the lens stays retracted. I think this started when my camera was connected to my laptop and the building power went out. The camera's functions have been reversed ever since.

- C 763i was down loading pictures from laptop ,however, after don load the camera shutter went off and i pulled (d/c ) the cord .my camera screen is black and not able to restart.
