It should give you an error number, it says it cannot restore an unknown error occured(number). Call 800-myiphone with that error number to get it fixed.

I have the iPhone, and I locked it and now I dont now remember the password. I tryed so many times and it said "iPhone Disabled connect to iTunes". I connected it and iTunes says they cant...

if you have a genuine iphone purchased legally from operator you can update or restore iphone to remove lock. beware all your data including contacts and media photos etc will be lost.
the trick is to turn the iphone off. , remove the data cable from phone, then hold home button and then connect cable to phone,
you will see the recovery icon on the phone if you have done as i instructed and your phone will be detected in itunes.
now you can restor or upgrade.

My iphone model #A1241 got locked after I tried to download some music from itunes. I am only allowed to make emergency call and it is now asking to insert a valid sim card to activate

Firstly try your sim in another phone and see if it works...if NOT then the problem is with the sim and you need to contact your network provider. If it Does work then you will need to restore your phone as a new iphone wiping all data and re-activating it.

Hope this helps!

Use the following steps to restore your iPhone.

***** IF YOU CANT SEE YOU IPHONE IN ITUNES OR IT IS STUCK AT THE APPLE LOGO - POWER DOWN YOUR PHONE - HOLD DOWN THE HOME BUTTON FOR AROUND 6SECS WHILST CONNECTING TO ITUNES - RELEASE BUTTON - ITUNES WILL THEN APPEAR WITH MESSAGE SAYING IT HAS DETECTED IPHONE IN RECOVERY MODE & CONTINUE TO RESTORE YOUR PHONE - FOLLOW FROM STEP 6! ) *****
  1. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed and running before attempting to update.
  2. Connect your device to your computer.
  3. Select your iPhone when it appears in iTunes under Devices.
  4. Select the Summary tab.
  5. Select the Restore option.
  6. When prompted to back up your settings before restoring, select the Back Up option (as seen in the image below). If you have just backed up the device, it is not necessary to create another.

  7. Select the Restore option when iTunes prompts you (as long as you've backed up your device, you should not have to worry about restoring your phone).

  8. Once the restore process has completed, the device restarts and displays the Apple logo while starting up:

iPhone only: For the iPhone only, after a restore, the iPhone displays the "Connect to iTunes" screen. Keep your device connected until the "Connect to iTunes" screen goes away or you see "iPhone is activated." If iTunes does not have an Internet connection, you cannot complete this step.

I need to unlock my apple iphone

Apple cant unlock your iphone for you if it is locked to your cell network, you need to contact them to get the unlock code for it. If you try to unlock yourself "jail break" then its likely that it will cause future software issues with your phone, which restoring to factory settings etc wont solve...
