Hello,
First verify tha batteries are inserted correctly.
Press [CLEAR] or [2nd][QUIT] to interrupt any program hung in memory

The screen contrast may be too light. To darken it.
1.Press [2nd] key and release it
2. Press [UpArrow and release it.
3. Keep repeating steps 1 and 2 in sequence till screen is dark.

To lighten it
Do as above with [DownArrow] instead of [UpArrow] in step 2

To reset RAM
Press [2nd][MEM][7:Reset][1:All RAM][2:Reset] [ENTER] then [CLEAR] screen.

Use communication software (TICONNECT) to communicate with calculator. You will find the software at education.ti.com.

Hope one of the suggestions solves your problem.

It is best to clear codes with a code reader. You can cancel them out by taking the negative cable of the battery for a couple minutes. . Some vehicle have a antitheft program which if the battery has been disconnected the radio will not work. If you have ever changed the battery out you can take the negative cable off the battery for a couple minutes and the code will clear.

Phone wont boot.

Hi, the problem you are having is with the data cable that attatches the screen to the circuit board, when the screen just shows white its telling us their is something wrong with the connection to the screen, now this could be down to liquid damage, or the circuit board getting warped due to phone been sat on etc, or it could be that its been knocked and damaged the fine ribbon that connects the screen to the circuit board, chances are it needs replacing, but try taking the battery out then give the phone a couple of hits in the palm of your other hand then replace the battery and it might if your lucky come back on, if it dont then it needs the screen data ribbon replacing or worse case the screen itself needs replacing, but you would need to make sure the repair cost is worth the price of the fone, or cut your losses and upgrade to another fone

Is the AC Power adapter the original adapter of the laptop? If it is, try to drain the battery and charge it for 8-12 hours without using or opening the laptop just charge it. After charging, remove the power adapter as you open your laptop. Make this way a habbit of using and charging your laptop to make the charging and battery life last long.

There are three possible solutions here. From what you are describing to me, you say the screen displays a couple of random numbers and letters, including a solid vertical line in the upper right corner, are scattered across the screen? Sounds like you are still in graphing mode. There is nothing wrong with your batteries and changing them won't help because I already know that you didn't change the CR Lithium Battery. This is the "memory card" for the TI-83 Plus. If you don't change that, when you insert new AAA batteries in the calculator, the memory has not been deleted. You probably don't remember, but the calculator remembers the last problem that you did, which was a graphing calculation. Try pressing the "Graph" button and the calculator will go back to function mode. If this doesn't work, try resetting all the memory.
  1. Remove a battery from the battery bay.
  2. Press and hold the CLEAR button while re-installing the battery.
  3. While still pressing the CLEAR key, press and hold down the ON button. If the home screen displays, release the keys.
  4. If the home screen is displayed, press 2nd MEMto display the memory menu.
  5. Select 7:Reset to display the "RAM ARCHIVE ALL" menu.
  6. Press the right arrow twice to display the "ALL" menu.
  7. Select 1:All Memory to display the "RESET MEMORY" menu.
  8. To proceed with the reset, select 2:Reset. The message "MEM cleared" is displayed on the home screen.
If this doesn't work, try changing the CR Lithium Battery. It is located in the battery bay at the top with the cross-head screw in it (It says BACK-UP BATTERY). It tells you what type of battery it takes and how to insert them in. I hope these possible solutions help. If all of them don't, then the only other thing I can think of is that it has some internal part alignment issues or a cold soldering iron blob, on the inside of the calculator. I saw one time on the Internet that cold soldering irons can sometimes make electronics not work properly.

2002 explorer radio not working

From LustyKid:

Steve:

Suggest you read th manual on the radio. Some radios you have to push in the on off button until the enter code window appears.

In other words push in to turn radio on and hold it in that position until the code window appears in the screen. Then enter code.

Never heard of disconnecting the battery to clear the code. All that does is tells the radio that an attemp was made to steal it, thus regenerating the lock 10 code. What it does clear is the ECM Module codes. Who was the dumbwit at the dealer that told you that? He needs to be sent back to school.
