Our Microwave/convection oven (721.808225) works for about 90 seconds and quits, displaying F5 error code.

my whirlpool accubake super capacity 465 oven door is locked

The EO F5 error code indicates a problem with the door lock. The replacement part is quite pricey at $239.

I have decided to replace my oven with another brand.

I have the same problem and it usually appears after a thunderstorm. I have been able to get it back to normal before by pressing "Stop" but, now that doesn't work. I have tried turning the power off and restarting the unit.

The functions "Bake" etc. work but the light will not go off and the lock indicator flashes on periodically.
