FLM-2632 October 2006 When set was off but not unplugged I disconnected a DVD player. At that point the red light was on, but after the disconnect there was no response to the side on-off switch or remote on-off. I unplugged and replugged the set. No light at all. Left it off for an hour or so, no light, no on, no off. The fuse next to the power inlet is fine. I found http://www.fixya.com/support/r741402-polaroid_flm_373b_lcd_tv_black_screen# and thought I'd follow the path there, but now apart, I see no bulging capacitors, and the layout is different from that website's pictures. Advice welcome!
Are you able to with the back off check on all of the PC board 'Especially the power supply board' if any of the fuses are open. If you have a multi-meter to test would be the best. Sometimes you are unable to see the open in a fuse with your naked eye. This still may be a main power supply issue but more than likely just an open fuse. Blessings, A/V Media Tech Guy

We moved the tv from the living room to the bed room and the v-chip was some how activated, no we are locked out of the tv. the password was never set up, but it keeps asking for the password. I've tried 0000, 6688, and a few others that were recommeded. I've also tried the hold the volume to 0 on the remote, then on the TV, then hold the 0 button the remote - no luck.
