In the window with the picture you want to copy, choose Select/All and then Edit/Copy. In the window where you want to put it, create or select the layer into which you want to put it, then choose Edit/Paste. You can then move, scale, and whatever.

How to edit picture?

You don't say which operating system you are using.

Photo Editing requires Photo Editing Software.

To do basic photo editing (cropping, rotating, flipping, adjust brightness, adjust contrast, adjust image size, adjust colo(u)r, adjust exposure, adjust size, adjust red eye) you can use free, built-in software that comes bundled with Windows and Microsoft Office such as: Paint, Microsoft Picture Viewer and Windows Photo Gallery.

In increasing order of editing functions:

Windows Photo Gallery: Fix > Auto Adjust, Adjust Exposure, Adjust Colour, Crop Picture, Fix Red Eye

Microsoft Office Picture Viewer: Picture > Brightness & Contrast, Colour, Crop, Rotate, Flip, Red Eye Removal, Resize, Compress.

Paint: Image > Flip/Rotate, Resize/Skew, Crop, Invert Colours, Adjust Attributes, Clear Image, Opaque.

In Paint you can also use additional tools to manipulate the image or add or delete shapes, text and colour (with a selection of writing or drawing implements): Free Form Select, Select, Fill with Colour, Magnifier, Brush, Text, Curve, Polygon, Rounded Rectangle, Ellipse, Rectangle, Line, Airbrush, Pencil, Pick Colour, Eraser/Colour Eraser.

In Windows Photo Gallery you can view and edit the same image in either of these 3 programs by clicking Open.

For more advanced photo editing, you can use the bundled software that comes with digital cameras such as:

Adobe Photoshop Elements

Photo Studio

For more advanced, professional standard photo editing you must buy expensive Photo Ediiting and Graphic Design software such as:

Adobe Photoshop

Adobe LightRoom

Adobe Illustrator

Adobe InDesign

Corel Painter

I hope this helps.

I'm trying to take pictures from my Eee pc computer's e-cam and put it on yahoo, how do I do it?

There should be software provided for the camera, check the list of programs in the start menu. Once you've found the software, there will be a utility for taking pictures and recording video. Usually the pictures are saved somewhere in my documents, but if you can't find them, there will be a setting somewhere in the webcam software that will tell you where they are being saved to. once you have the picture you want, open yahoo messenger, click 'messenger' in the top menu, then click 'my display image' and tell it where to find the image you want to use.

Download smaller pictures

You "should" take larger pictures with your camera and then after downloading them onto your computer, change the image size on the PC using your image editing software. There will be a function to allow you to "resize" the image. Resize it to the 500x500 you are allowed to upload. However, since an image is typically not square, make the longest side the 500 pixels and let the shorter side change as it will (keeping the "aspect ratio" so it remains proportional). IMPORTANT: Save the "edited" image as NEW file so you retain your original. I hope this is clear. If not, please post again and I'll try to give you more information...

Can't make pictures small enough to put on craiges list

An easy solution is to put the image an external imagehost and just add the HTML to embed the image.

If you want to scale the image and make a small file, try using irfanview or XnView (or any other similar tool, per Google Directories or another, or perhaps to save the file in an appropriate format, with appropriate settings. Get the file size down to 30kB if you can; load an existing image from CraigsList into your editor to get an idea of the max dimensions and appropriate filetypes and sizes.

There's a bit of a guide here:

Picture size

your best bet is to resize the images. you can easly resize using windows or easier using the camera software, under zoombrowser go to internet then email emages, follow that then save the images to your computer then try those images. If could be that the ones that wouldn't transfer they could have been edited, if the DPI setting of the image has been changes or set in anyway that could be makign the images over 27"

On the camera you can easily change the resolution of fuure images y pressing func/set button and scrolling down to the bottom where you have L , M1 M@ M# S, try choosing S if your not planning on printing images other than on your report
