No malfunction in the machine that I can imagine could cause your problem.
There are only two ways that your washer could be losing water, you might have a leak in which case you would know because you would see a mess on the floor.
You might also have the end of the drain hose to low, gravity will cause the machine to drain if the tip of the hose isn't about four feet off the floor.

After machine has finished cycle and is not used for a day water refills in drum although its empty and door open

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

This is symptomatic of an intermittent (hot, if it's both hot and cold fill, cold if it's cold fill only) water control valve. Its physical no power/fail position is closed but yours is not closing completely. It needs replacing so sorry, service call ;-0(
Good luck,
John C

Brand new 105c; water will not shut off when filling tank

Turn the water off. Remove r=the top section of the fill valve. Slowly turn the water on while holding a cup over the open end of the Fluid-master fill valve. This is to wash out any debris. Turn the water off. take the rubber seal out of the fill valve cap and wash it under warm water. Replace the seal and reinstall the cap. Slowly turn the water back on. If you still have problems after completing this task. Replace the rubber fill valve seal or the whole valve. I do not think the supply line is the main problem.

Toilet not refilling water

A couple of thing's to check the fill tube in the tank is it connected from the fill valve to over flow. This fill's th ebowl up with the required amount of water.
Next is the water filling to the line on the fill tube with in 5/8 " from top of tube. Adjust the float to get it with in the fill amount required.

The chain on the flapper need's some slack, you just have to move it a little till it get's adjusted right. Water level low in the tank will affect the flapper also.

I hope this will be of some help for you.

Drum keeps filling with water when not in use

Hi, You will need a new water inlet valve. the valve has stuck open just enough to let water trickle in. Until you can repair it, just turn the valve off at the wall. If you have not yet found your answer, let me know and I will assist you in getting part#.

I hope this helps. If so, please rate my answer so I know how I am doing.

Toilet will not flush

It sound like you have debris caught in the fill valve. Remove the top where the washer is and put your hand over it and slowly turn the water on to flush the fill valve. Replace the washer with a new one and then replace the top.

If you have the old ball and **** style, replaceing the diaphram is harder so I would recommend replacing it with a fluidmaster fill valve. Hope this helps.

Drum is filling with water after each wash

There is only 2 possibilities for the drum to fill with water after it has finished.
Firstly, if the empty pipe is connected to the sink outlet pipe, the water can syphon back into the washer if the pipe is too low, thereby slowly filling the washer when not in use.
Solution is to lift the outlet pipe higher.than the bottom of the sink.
The other reason is the inlet valve is not shutting off properly.
To prove if this is the case, turn the water off at the valve, if it is hot and cold fill, then turn the hot off only, and wait and see if water comes in over a period of time, if it does not then you need to replace the hot valve.
If water stills comes in with hot turned off, then you need to replace the cold valve.
If cold fill only , turn off cold and wait to see if any water comes in, if it does not, then replace cold valve.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

WF860 drum filling with water

Normally I would think that the problem is with the drain system (faulty pump or clogged lines), but you told me that also "When the washing machine is not bein.g used the drum slowly starts to fill with water!!" therefor I think it can be a dafective inlet valve or a faulty control assembly.
In either case, you will need a technician to fix this.

Water in drum

It sounds like you have a faulty fill valve that is leaking by. The valve has an electric solenoid but also has a small diaphragm that needs to seat properly to keep the water supply from coming in. If the diaphragm is not seating correctly for whatever reason, water pressure alone can keep water filling into the wash tub. Even the smallest amount, over time can cause problems. One way to test the theory is to shut off the water supply before you go to bed. If the tub is still empty in the morning, more than likely you have a bad fill valve. Let me know if this helps.
