Re: sound problem.

You need to get the brand name of your sound card to your technician including the model then download to the internet. in the first place, you technician should be resposible in repairng your computer. he should left with your computer in good running condition. how can you pay the technician with still aproblem in your computer. you need to consult him again and if possible let him download the necessary driver ar other requirements by your computer.

HP Pavilion Dv6 Speakers wont work!

Download the latest drivers from the hp website for your computer.Un-install the present one and reboot your computer.Install the drivers once windows come up.This should take care of it.If not it could be your os.Last thing you should consider is the sound card itself which is built on the motherboard.

Try reinstalling the audio driver. If you haven't this driver on a CD then
you need to download the drivers from the Compaq/HP WEB support/download page. Make sure you select your model laptop and the XP or Vista Windows version of the drivers you require and install them. Use this link to download the drivers: -

My Hp pavilion tx2000 cant play audio files, cant connect to net

Hi James

First, Sound drivers:
HP Pavilion tx2000 CTO Notebook Realtek High-Definition Audio Driver A from HP notebook

and video drivers..
HP Pavilion tx2000z CTO Notebook NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 Video Driver A

Now network:
HP Pavilion tx2000 CTO Notebook NVIDIA nForce Chipset/Network Driver 5.53 A

and wireless!
This is an older WIFI driver that only works in XP, and in certain HP Pavilions, but try it.

and this is the Vista one that is correct for your laptop, it probably doesn't work in XP but if all else fails, you could try it. (You should really run Vista on it, I reckon)-----------------
HP Pavilion tx2000 CTO Notebook Broadcom Wireless LAN Driver 7.0 Windows Vista
