You have a time problem.
Set the timing to factory spec and your trouble should go away.
This process involves lots of work, particularly if you dont have the proper tools.
You will probably have to remove the engine cover and fly wheel for starters.
Once inside, you will need to read the markings and know how to use a feeler gage.
You might find additional help at the web site of the engine manufacturer.
While I dont want ti discourge you, this might be better done by a mower repair place in your town.
