Same problem with me and my PS3, at the back of the router should be a small little hole that says reset. Get a pen and push the button inside. It will then reset hopefully fixing your connection.

My xbox disconects when my computer and xbox are on at the same time. we have had the wireless router for 8 weeks and had no problems untill a week ago. (NETGEAR WGR614 wireless router)

You can try to restart the router. If that won't do the trick, you can look if they have accidently the same ip address. If they have, let the computer get an ip adress from the dhcp server.

Or just reset the router.

Hope this was helpful! :)

Whilst playing cod modenwarfare on live with

It's Your internet. Wireless internet gets a lot of interference. It's worse still if you don't have good internet speed. You need average 5 mega bits 8 is recommened though.

It can also be that the person who is host of game and you can't connect well to each other and so this happens. It can also be the game servers as well.(though this is very unlikely) dont worry you are not only one who gets this problem.

You can contact NETGEAR support to help you open the NAT settings. ( they know how to do it )

The simplest way and most efficient way to connect to xbox live is using DIRECT MODEM CONNECTION

COD server disconnect with wireless adapter

Hi there,

Its to do with your router, every now and again your router settings will turn to strict, as you proberly not usings a xbox compatible router, dont worry not many people do, i dont neither.

All you have to do is just turn off the router for 30secs and turn it back on, this will allow you to play on live again.

Personally if you can, connect it to the routher via a ethernet cable, it provided a much faster connection.

Ping is high at closest server. But low at servers much further

hello there i have built many wifi networks and install networks for server hosts.
I would try setting your port forward to the correct port that xbox live runs on.
also uncheck Qos (quality of service) this will throttle bandwidth, you want this off.
