How to use the usb to down load music from my computer

  1. Insert a Memory Stick into the Memory Stick slot in the left side of the PSP. Depending on how much music you want it to hold, you may need to get a larger one than the stick that came with your system.
  2. Turn on the PSP.
  3. Plug a USB cable into the back of the PSP and into your PC or Mac. The USB cable needs to have a Mini-B connector on one end (this plugs into the PSP), and a standard USB connector on the other (this plugs into the computer).
  4. Scroll to the "Settings" icon on the home menu of your PSP.
  5. Find the "USB Connection" icon in the "Settings" menu. Press the X button. Your PSP will display the words "USB Mode" and your PC or Mac will recognize it as a USB storage device.
  6. If there isn't one already, create a folder called "PSP" on the PSP Memory Stick -- it shows up as "Portable Storage Device" or something similar -- (you can use Windows Explorer on a PC, or Finder on a Mac).
  7. If there isn't one already, create a folder called "MUSIC" inside the "PSP" folder.
  8. Drag and drop image files into the "MUSIC" folder just as you would save files in another folder on your computer.
  9. Disconnect your PSP by first clicking on "Safely Remove Hardware" on the bottom menu bar of a PC, or by "ejecting" the drive on the Mac (drag the icon into the trash). Then unplug the USB cable and press the circle button to return to the home menu.

In game, psp thinks i am pushing back on analog stick when im not

Your Analogue Stick may be faulty because what you are describing appears to be a hardware issue. If your casing is old and/or broken I recommend replacing the housing or replacing the analogue stick to the bottom left hand side of the console. you can order these parts of Ebay and the housing will take 40 minutes to an hour to replace and the analogue stick should only take 10 minutes to replace.

No screen is coming on psp

Turn the PSP off and remove the battery and battery cover. Remove the two screws underneath the battery. Remove the other two screws on the opposite side of the battery. Remove the final screw on the bottom edge of the PSP.Grasp the PSP on both sides with each hand and pull the cover off of the PSP. Locate the button bar on the bottom front of the PSP. Use your flathead driver to lift up the left side of the button bar until it pops up off the LCD support. Lift the button bar cable tab upwards to remove the cable and remove the button bar.Insert your flat driver into the small space on the left side of the LCD screen between the the LCD housing and the LCD mounting bracket. Twist the screwdriver slightly and the mounting tabs will pop out. Gently remove the other side of the LCD after popping out the first side tabs. Bend the PSP screen all the way down until you can see the backside of the screen.

Lift up the flex cable connectors and unhook the cables that connect the screen to the PSP motherboard. The tabs are brownish in color; they are very fragile, so be gentle. Lift the PSP screen out of the housing and place to the side.Place your new PSP screen into the PSP, face down like you had the older screen after popping out the mounting tabs. Connect all of the cables from the PSP screen into the motherboard tabs. Fold the screen back into the bracket, snapping it into place. Place the button bar back onto the LCD support, connecting the last cable. Place the cover back onto the PSP and tighten screws to finish.

My pc does not read my psp, how do i fix it.? do i need to install a psp driver.? where do i find such driver for free.?

Hook up your Sony PSP to your computer via a USB cable. Turn on the PSP and put it in "USB CONNECT " mode (it should display the words "USB CONNECT" on the PSP display during the entire time you're transferring files, and plug it in if you don't have a fully charged battery).

I just replaced my psp analog stick and it still doesn't work wel

Did you have it replaced or did YOU replace IT?You cannot truely replace these things yourself unless you are a expert. It is also possible that while it was replaced a wire was loosened and is now not taking in the command to stop moving.Either that or some part of the processor in the motherboard was smudged during its placement.
