Question about Philips GoGear HDD6330 MP3 Player

It is a small blue GoGear mp3 player it is all buttons bu the pc cant detect it

Try turning the power on before you connect it to your pc, also, sometimes MP3 players need to charge for a while before the computer will recognize them.

My philips gogear mix 2gb,no power and no detected in computer what is the couse of them?


There is a small tiny hole which is the RESET to the player Use a small office pin to pres and hold as the processor will reset . Also remove or uninstall the gogear on the PC and restart. Now connect the go gear and it will be detected as a new hardware and installed. If not there are errors on the player and to confirm test it on another PC.

My philips mp3 player is not start or not detecting on PC


If the device is not being recognized by the PC you need to perform a hard reset of the unit. To do this please insert a small object (pen, toothpick, etc) into the small reset button. Hold this for 5 secs then try to turn the player on. If hard reset fails the device is most likely beyond repair. Goodluck!

Message showing - player problem connect pc and fformat player


i have philips gogear sa 1356/97 mp3 player.it is not working .when i switch on the player a message displays "Player Problem-Connect to pc-format player". My PC not detecting the device.

Cant turn my gogear on it Freeze´s


WARNING: this process will erase all songs off the GoGear.
Disconnect the GoGear from computer.
Turn the GoGear off.
Hold in the volume + button.
Reconnect the GoGear while holding in the volume + button.
Continue holding the volume + button.
After 5-50 seconds, Windows will pop-up a "Found New Hardware Wizard." - complete the wizard (BTW, you can take your hand ff the volume + button now).

Make sure you back up all songs on the GoGear before attempting this solution.

1) Back up all files on the GoGear
2) Open up Philips Device Manager (Start --> All Programs --> Philips)
3) Click on the Repair Tab, and look for a msg that says connect the player while holding the volume + button
4) Disconnect the GoGear from the computer and turn the GoGear off - hold in the volume + button and continue to hold it as you reconnect the GoGear to the computer; after holding the volume + button for up to 20 or 30 seconds, a window will open up saying that your device is being repaired (now you can let go of the volume + button); after the repair is successfully complete, your GoGear will be good as new

Now you can do the firmware upgrade that will prevent this problem from occuring in the future. Open up Philips Device Manager and click the Update tab. This problem was caused because most GoGear's were designed for Windows XP with Media Player 10 (which is no longer the latest standard).

Mp3 says "problem - connect to computer"


Download the firmware, connect the MP3 player (which is rubbish, lets all be honest) and upgrade it.
