I replaced the C3 capacitor on the circuit board and works fine. This was mentioned in a prior post and took 5 minutes and was under $5.00 for the part.

Hi, this will happen over a period of time and its just heat related. the control panel isn't insulated properly and , there has been a larger than normal transfer of heat to the inside of the control panel where the circuits are housed.
If this is a problem, i recommend replacing the control board. it will fix the dim issue.

You need to replace the C3 capacitor on the control board
You can replace only the C3 - it is 68uF / 35V and you can go to Radio Shack and get their part # 272-1028 - 100uF/35V one. It takes all but 10 minutes to re-solder the new one in place

I replace the C3 Capacitor on the display circuit board of a Jenn Air model #JJW9627AAW - double oven from Sears after the display got too dimm. This cost me $1.50 total verses the $200 parts cost only.
Thanks for the tip man!
