Then go into where you store the pictures highlight the picture one at a time in the picture file my program says copy to file click on it and shows the SD file as F file click copyit then downloads to the card. Done put SD card in frame worked perfectly.

sir the memory card that you have in your camera do not allow pics to upload.Because the card that we put in the camera only allow picture to download from it.It will not allow pics to upload to it.If you want to upload pics to your camera try after putting a micro SD card. For that you should buy a micro SD adapter. After putting micro SD into that adapter you can put that into your camera. Then it will allow both uploading and downloading.
You can try to reformat the sd card. Sometimes cards will contain data that disrupts the reading process.
Also, sometimes if you edit images on the pc, such as rotating them in Window's image viewer, it will rewrite the image as a jpeg that is unrecognized in the camera.
Lastly, check to see if the photos are being saved to the sd card or the camera.
The computer uses a small program to be able to upload pictures from the memory card once the pictures are safely on the computer hard drive hopefully you created a file folder for them then the memory card needs to be formatted in the camera. Formatting the memory card cleans the card and makes it compatible to the camera again. Every time you download images to the computer the memory needs formatting in the camera. Any new memory card needs formatting in the camera a card that has been formatted in the computer needs to be reformatted in the camera. Also please be aware that there is a protection lock on the side of the SD card and if placed in the incorrect orientation will actually lock the card from formatting or deleting files on the card. I'm going to include a diagram here to show you where this little switch need to be for the "unlock" position.
Switch needs to be towards the top of the card in the direction of the gold contacts
You have to upload your images from your camera to your computer and save and delete the pictures on your camera. You can buy SD memory card which can store lot more images than the internal memory. If you will be using the SD card, you have to select from the menu that you want the camera to write images on the external memory instead of the internal memory. You can upload images on the camera to your computer through USB cable. The cable is cheap if you buy from eBay especially ones that are being sold from Hong Kong. USB cable from Hong Kong worked well on my Kodak.
If you are using a memory card to store images on your camera, you can get an external usb card reader to download your images. Attach the reader to your computer, insert the sd memory card, and copy the images to your hard drive. If you are using the built in memory, try going here to find a software download: http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/products/ekn034495.jhtml?pq-path=11888#
i just want to know does it have a sd card and if ur laptop and a sd card slot if not u can buy a usb sd card adapter for ur camera if it has the sd card thats how u can upload the pics email me back at email@example.com
Hi there. Here is how you do it.
Go into the menu and navigate to the Copy screen.
Choose an option. One is to copy pictures from the camera's internal memory to the SD card, and the other is copy from the SD card to the camera's internal memory. Then press OK. On the next screen, you have two option choices, either copy all images, or selected images.
Hope that helps.
Your PhotoFrame does not have internal memory acording to the Phillips data sheet, therefore you need to load your pictures directly onto a memory card (one from your camera will proabably work.) If that isn't convenient, you can generally get a good price on a SD memory card which is supported by your PhotoFrame.
If you wnat to transfer pictures from your PC to the memory card and have a card reader, you can transfer the pictures in Windows Explorier from your PC to the memory card and then plug the card into your PhotoFrame. If you do not have a card reader, plug the memory card into the PhotoFrame and connect it to your PC using a USB cable (you may have to buy one as acording to the Phillips data sheet it is not supplied.) When the PhotoFrame is pluged in it will appear in Windows Explorier as a new hard drive, and you can copy your pictures to it.
I'M SORRY TO SAY BUT I BELIEVE THAT YOUR ONBOARD MEMORY IS CORRUPT. YOU PROBABLY WON'T BE ABLE TO RECOVER THOSE PICTURES. I THINK YOU NEED TO FORMAT YOUR ONBOARD MEMORY TO GET IT WORKING AGAIN. UNTIL YOU KNOW FOR SURE THAT IT IS WORKING, I WOULD USE A MEMORY CARD. ARE YOU SURE YOU HAVE THE LATEST VERSION OF THE CANON SOFTWARE? I PERSONNALLY NEVER USE THE ONBOARD MEMORY BECAUSE I FEEL THAT THERE IS ALWAYS A CHANCE TO LOSE THE IMAGES. I WOULD USE A 4 GIG SD MEMORY CARD THAT WOULD GIVE YOU A VERY LARGE NUMBER OF PICTURES AND THE SAFETY OF BEING ABLE TO REMOVE THE CARD FROM THE CAMERA AND USE A CARD READER OR YOUR COMPUTER IF IT HAS SD SLOTS. I HOPE THIS CLEARS YOUR PROBLEM UP,EVEN IF IT DOESN'T HELP RECOVER YOUR PHOTO'S. I'M SORRY ABOUT THIS. IF YOU NEED MORE HELP,REPLY TO: ARCLIGHT1217
