Hi,

Check if you did not accidentally set real player to autoplay when you connect your camera or mem card.

In windows:

Right click on the device when connected and select "Open autoplay". A screen will appear. On the bottom of the screen click "View more autoplay options". Scroll down to your device and check if real player is assigned to open the device when connected.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

How do i put my photos on to my laptop from my camera

Check inside your camera If you have an external memory card. you might be able to take the card out and put in into your laptop. If not the camera should have a USB transfer cable plug it into your camera then into your laptop.

Tip

Put music on SD card

1. Start Real Player on desktop
2. Hook PDA to PC
3. Run Real Player on PDA
4. In menu below player select burn/transfer
5. Select Music/All Music
6. Select songs to transfer over
Incidentally you can select mutpile songs at one time if you wish if they are all in a row
7. On the right side the songs will show up
8. Don't worry about "Will Not Fit" this only means desktop real player can't see your PDA or your card isn't plugged in all the way. Make sure it is B4 you begin
9. The songs will show on the right "Ready To Transfer"
10. Once you are done, lower left click START TRANSFER

Hi I have my video camera and i pulled out the SD card and put it right into my laptop. I opened the file, but it won't play.... how can i make it play? is there a free player download??

Playing it depends on what format your camera recorded it in...look at your owners book or look model up on web and look at specs....it will list type of format your recording is...at that time you can get the correct software or plug in for windows media palyer and play it on your laptop card slot....post model and I'll help if needed...

Reading card error, but card is in..sanDisk256??

Either it's a real error w/ the card or there are files on the card that the camera can't understand. try re-formating the card (check your owners man.) or put the card into a card reader, plug it into your computer, trash all files off of the card, EMPTY THE TRASH CAN & eject the card normally. If that doesn't work buy a new card.

Canon a95 camera not found in my new hp laptop to download pictures from camera to laptop with windows vista . disk downloaded the sorftware just fine and it brings up the zoombrowser. Do I need a special...

If you installed the disc that came with your camera into Vista and it still does not recognize the camera when you plug in your USB cable, one quick solution to get the pictures off of your card would be to purchase a card reader (approx. $20 here in the states). That is assuming that the computer does not have one built in. If it does, open the battery door on the camera with the camera off, and press on the card to eject it, put the microSDHC card into the SD adapter and plug that into your card reader into the SD slot. From there you should be ready to go.

Transferring to memory card

if the card is a micro sd card and its one of those ettsy bettsy ones, u need a thingy to put it into to make it fit in bigger slots. if u have 1, what i did is put it in a camera or palm pilot and transfer it onto the card. but that just takes 2 long. open my computer and plug it in. have the card in the slot and click removible disc. if nothing shows up, open your mp3 and click external storage and it should show up. if this doesnt work im mjjmk@hotmail.com

Olympus 770 not able to move photos from xd card to laptop error message every time

A couple of questions :

What happens when you use "Windows Explorer" to view the contents of the card .
It should appear as just another disk drive in the list .

Are you able to view the contents of the card when you plug the camera into the usb port ?

DIGITAL CAMERA WON'T DOWN LOAD

Real Player is one of the most intrusive programs ever written. I have banned it from my computer. Your best bet is to get a card reader. They are very low priced. http://www.compgeeks.com/products.asp?cat=CAM#Flash%20Card%20Readers Click on "Flash Card Readers" ..... Hint - When posting to the forum please don't use all caps. It is very hard to read.
