Question about Televison & Video
Try power off the TV (wait a bit until the lamp cool down with the fan) then unplug it for an hour. If the problem subsist the DMD board (Digital Micro Mirror) will need to be replaced.
White line are line of small mirror that are kept in a position that give white. You could still try to see if some connector or data ribbon is not well inserted before going to the repair shop.
The problem is DMD chip of your tv . The chip has millions of micro mirrors on it that reflect the light from the color wheel to the screen. If it’s not working properly, the mirrors most likely are not tipping back and forth which can cause the vertical lines. --------------- if you want to do it manually you can get the required part at (www.radioshack.com or at www.shopjimmy.com or at www.partstore.com) -------------------- this will help.please do rate the solution.thank you for using fixya.keep updated.
