Question about Kodak EASYSHARE 5100 All-In-One Printer

Same on kodak...

Kodak use to make quality products...cannot say that about the all-in-one 5100 printer. lower cost of ink...that is a joke...it bleeds through ink faster than any printer I have ever worked with, received a new printhead that is worst than the last one, bought more ink yesterday and now it won't print the color yellow, customer service was terrible, sad state of affairs. I would not recommend any Kodak products to anyone ever.

Just try cleaning the printhead using the AIO home center program and i'm sure you would be able to restore good print quality again

Kodak 5100 series is not recognizing refill



Forgive me for asking this, but roughly speaking about 80 to 85% of problems involving ink or toner are resolved by the following:
Are you using a manufacturer’s factory new ink cartridge or toner? I
f you are using a refilled (worst possible choice) cartridge , toner or ink, or third party cartridge (2nd. worst possible choice) that may well be your problem. Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges.
They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead.
If you are using the manufacturer’s new ink cartridges, then please contact their technical support group. Factory new cartridges usually have warranties on them.

Kodak ESP5 Error Code 3802 and will not print yellow even with cleaning and new ink.


Issue is with printhead

Select image quality > missing color > follow the steps to order a free printhead

I dont have the 5100 I have the esp 5 but when I changed the ink its now giving me an error about the print head missing error


may be printhead has gone bad. call kodak @ 1800 421 6699 for further assistance.if kodak is not able to solve the issue,they wil replace ur printhead for free of cost.

You will need a new printhead. If its not under waranty good luck trying to find one.
