Our tv all of a sudden just shuts off. It seems to do it late in the evening after it has been on for 5 or 6 hours. We can turn it right back on but sometimes it will last only a few minutes. For instance, last night it went off at 10:42 pm and then at 11:23, 11:27, 11:41, 11:48, 11:51, 11:55, 11:56, 12am and then every 2 to 3 minutes after that until TV was turned off at 12:26. As you can see it is a puzzle, can you help?

When the TV detects an issue (and this one sounds power releated), it will cause the STANDBY light to blink or flash. I would try connecting the TV to an another wall outlet and check if that helps.If the TV is plugged into a Power Strip or Surge Protector, remove it from the power strip or surge protector and plug it directly into the wall outlet. If the issue is resolved, the problem is with the power strip or surge protector and not the TV. If this doesn't resolve your issue, I would also try a power reset on the TV to check if that helps to resolve the issue.To Reset the TV, disconnect the power cord for a short period of time (approximately 1 minute), then reconnect the power cord and power on the TV.
