No blue screen? No error messages in blue screen?
If you have a blue screen without a direct message, try to replace a memory, otherwise this can be a temperature problem.

If you are skilled to disassembly your laptop, put some thermal grease in the processor. Otherwise take it to service.

The active window keeps moving to the background, and I need to click every time to bring it back to continue typing.

Step 1:
During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup usually the Delete or F2 key this will vary depending on your computer and operating system usually the Delete or the F2 key Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS using the arrow keys load failsafe defaults or load optimized defaults press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart.

Slow performance

First of all, SAVE ALL OF YOUR IMPORTANT DATA! Not programs, just Data. You can reload the programs.

Open Internet Explorer, Tools, Windows Update. Select Custom.
Install all the updates. Repeat until you no longer have updates to install.

Click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Cleanup.
While that is running open your TEMP folder and delete everything in it. Then open the Windows folder and delete all files starting with $NTUninstall. In the Windows\TEMP folder and delete everything.

After that I like to search for all *.bak; *.tmp and ~*.* files and delete them.(They're all temp files)

After all that Open My Computer and Right Click on the C: drive. On the Tools Tab select Check Now. Check Automatically Fix Errors and Scan For and Attemp Recovery of Bad Sectors. Click START and reboot your PC. This will take a long time. When that is finished, go back to Tools and Select Defragment Now. This also will take a long time.

This whole process takes a long time if this is the first time you've done it so, be patient.

Boot failure reboot and select proper boot device what must i do , it does not want to start windows

Try entering the BIOS and ensure that the boot disk priority is set to hard drive then CD drive.
Ususally delete key during first start up.

If it is indeed correct then your windows installation or hard drive has failed.
Contact a computer technician to try and recover your information, he/she may need to reinstall windows.

Acer 5620 pressing f8 at start wont load bios either

F8 is usually reserved for Windows Safe Mode. BIOS settings are usually found with by pressing ESC, Delete, or F2 on most system. Some times I run my finger along the entire row of function keys like a piano if it isn't specified which key works during boot up.

Start windows wireless service

i think this may help - (i hate things like these too, they are annoying)

click start then RUN

type "msconfig"

click the startup tab at the top

click disable all (this wont delete anything just turn it off when windows starts incuding Windows wireless service)

press OK or APPLY

restart computer when prompted

not only do unneccisary programs start up now your PC will be twice as fast. You may need to restart the PC twice.

Hope i could help

Computer seems to turn on except for the screan.

You may have gotten a virus that started with the windows openning. Normally use ALT-F4 to shut these screens down fast. Always ensure you are running an up to date virus checker. But, your subsequent actions may have caused irrepairable damage to your OS. Do you have a virus check disk you can start with? Worst case, do you have your windows disk? You may need to re-install windows to get a clean start. If you need to do this but have data that you must not lose, try pressing F8 during startup and starting in safemode with prompt. You can retrieve data in this mode if you need to (if you don't know how, ask, or research command prompt and windows directories).
