Go to messages and check in the deleted items, in case they are present there, you may move them to Inbox or some other folder but if they are not available in there, then they cannot be retrieved.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get 2 Free calls (no credit card required) and instant help on almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, appliances, handyman, and even pets).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

How to erase my data

Hello Bria, what kind of cell phone is it?
If you're on an iPhone and want to wipe data from it, you only need to tap Settings > General > Reset, and choose Erase All Content and Settings to wipe everything on your device.

After wiping an iPhone, your device will restart, you can hold the Sleep/Wake button to turn it off.

How do I go back to factory settings? My phone won't allow me to send a text mssg, only receive.

Hi Chuck
Before you do that and erase everything on your phone, check with your cellphone provider. Some companies allow you to receive text messages, but not send unless they are in your package. Also you may have a limit to of the number you can send.

With iPhone, check you are sending Text message rather than iMessage.

Permanently delete text messages from iPhone

iPhone Data Eraser would definitely erase your current data and permanently delete iPhone messages, but you can always protect your iPhone's data by using a backup recovery software.

Hi i need to recover text messages that has been erased. is there some how i can get them back

Once a sms, or text message has been deleted, it will b moved to the deleted folder (not all handsets have this feature) and there they can be retrieved. If your handset does not have this feature, then once the messages have been deleted then there is nothing you can do.

click HOME, then go to SETTINGS, then you go down to MORE, then go to SECURITY, and it will ask for a USER LOCK ( it is the last FOUR digits of your cell phone number like for ex. 555-465-6788. 6788 could be the last for digits if this was somebody's cell phone number. after that click ERASE/RESET, and erase ALL of your Web cache; web history; and web cookies and erase all of your messages if you scroll down.

HI Unfortunately, Memory in the phone is RAM type and it is not Hard Drive type so once it has been erased, you will not be able to retrieve it back. That is why some phone model has poped up the message to ask you whether you are confimed for a premanent delete. Memory in phone was too small so it must erase the old one in order to give out more space for incoming one so once it is erase, it will be permanently.
