Install your new start battery and connect it to the engine as normal. be sure to ground the additional battery to the others. Then install an automatic charge relay between the start battery and the common on the battery switch for the original pair of batteries. This will allow the engine to charge its own battery and whichever battery(s) you have selected on the dual position switch.

Can i replace the AGM batteries in my Bombardier class e, with deep cycle batteries?

A deep cycle battery for personal mobility equipment would be how to look into this. The AGM is a type of deep cycle battery. A gel battery is what was more common before AGM came along. Gel batteries tend to hold up a touch more than AGM.

Auto box wont start in park or neutral

There are over 20 reasons why the Kia Sedona computer will not allow this vehicle start. I found two of them to be the nightmare from hell, and diagnosing usually requires the computer hooked up at one of the automotive parts stores or a mechanic coming to you. Unless you have been really paying attention to symptoms, you will need that help first before the repair.

How do I know what battery to buy and how do I hook it up to my gulfstream coach

Above all, buy the best battery you can afford. You can't have too much battery! A standard sealed lead-acid battery is okay for the engine, but I would suggest an AGM battery for the coach. AGMs are longer lasting, charge quicker and can stand abuse. Make sure it is a deep cycle battery for a RV, NOT A MARINE TYPE DEEP CYCLE. Marine type deep-cycle batteries are designed to start engines along with their deep-cycle capabilities. They WILL NOT last in an RV.

Make sure the replacement is the same design i.e. + post on left (or whichever). Compare to original battery. Switch breaker off for coach. Replace battery. Hook up the RED cable to + FIRST, then black cable to ground. Switch power back on. You can charge it if you want to, but I never noticed any need.

Is a deep cycle battery the same as an RV/marine battery?

Deep cycle is typically for long duration loads like lights or a troling motor but not very high starting currents. Unless marked, an RV battery is a combination starting running battery. It may have a higher starting current than the deep cycle, but not as long of a run time.

What would cause a loss of power at higher speed selections

Here are a few tips...Read your manual before operating any equipment. Chances are, you over heated the motor and it has a safety switch to shut it off before it ruins the motor. They call that a duty cycle.

1. Motor fails to run or lacks power:
• Check battery connections for proper polarity.
• Check battery cables to ensure they are tight and have a proper connection.
• Make sure that the terminals are clean and corrosion free.
• Check the battery water level. Add water if needed.
2. Motor loses power after a short running time:
• Check battery/batteries charge, if low, restore to full charge.
• Do not run the motor for extended periods of time out of the water.
3. Do not use starting batteries with this motor.
NOTE: Do not use your crank battery as one of the supply batteries; crank batteries are not built for deep discharge service.

My batteries in my jazzy select gt power chair are dead.would it be possible to replace them with a car battery.

I would not recommend you to do this. The batteries that are used for this application are a deep cycle battery. A regular battery may get hot and you will just have problems. Get the correct batteries for the unit. They take U1 32Ah 12V batteries.

Hi, the deep cycle battery is for the home part and should charge through the external connector port. The regular battery is for the engine. Is the regular battery charged up too?

3.3 engine won't turn over to start sometimes-Have replaced battery and electrical ignition switch

If vehicle is Automatic check the Neuteral position on gear selector . Rock selector (slightly) but be carefull ! No crank can be Starter or dud connection . This is a simple circuit ie battery> key sw > neuteral sw > (sometimes aux solenoid) > starter solenoid/motor.

Car will not start all electrical components comes on but will not turn over

If battery connections are sound , try the inhibitor switch (Nuteral selector Sw on gearbox) ie Car must be in nuteral before engine will crank. You can slightly rock gear selector but be CAREFUL ! do not select drive.
