Question about Kirby G4 Bagged Upright Vacuum
If you are good and familiar with a Kirby, the new generations are self propelled with a transmission BUT may cost you over $1500 US. They will be very familiar but easier to push, yet still vastly overpriced.
You might want to look for a deal on a used or refurb Generation 3-4or 5 or the new G6 in an estate sale or local newspaper. many people buy one then realize they can't run them and sell them off.
Or consider an easier running unit. if you want great quality, mainly for carpet, look for A sebo UPRIGHT

Not sure where you are located but try the local auction houses on auction nite the g6 machines are easier as they are self propelled and ive seen them going for as little as 50.00 and as high as 250 at second hand stores. if you are in florida or georgia youre in luck as there are dozens of these auction houses. i recently purchased 2, legend II machines and a G4 paying 35 and 40 for each
