Hi is there avfuse box or fuses on the stove?

If its an electric stove the fuse panel should be in the upper back of the stove. Ours was in the top behind the clock. There should be a fuse for each burner and one for the oven.

Where are fuses in Kenmore stove C970

Stoves generally do not have internal fuses they rely on the house circuit breaker to protect the circuit. Some stoves have what is called a thermal fuse. These can trip when the oven or broiler has overheated. Some are located on the back panel and some are located on the top panel under the top of the stove. Since this is a smooth top model there may be one on the back panel. More than likely there is a problem with the oven control circuit possibly in the electronic control. The relays can go bad on the control and the oven will not work.

No power

Your stove should be on its own breaker or have its own fuse. Some models of stoves have fuses within their own control panels too. Check your home's panel to see if a breaker has been flipped or a fuse blown, and follow up with the owners manual for your make and model of stove.

Just cooked Xmas dinner and electronic control panel went dead oven light comes on as does burners

Step 1:

Unplug the stove or turn off main breaker.

Step 2:

Pull stove away from wall and remove screws at the back of the panel to expose a fuse in the panel. It is probably blown!

Step 3:

Replace with the exact same fuse after cleaning all the wires and the areas around the wires (circuit boards as needed).

WE have a GE Stove top Range. The burners aren't

If you have power to the stove as in the oven light works and the clock works but the burners and oven will not work you only have 120 volts coming to the stove. The stove requires 240 volts for the burners and oven to work. Check the service panel for a blown fuse. There will be 2 fuses in the fuse holder. One of them is blown. If that is not the case then one of the wires has come loose either in the service panel or in the outlet behind the stove. Use a multimeter to check the input voltage at the outlet.

If you have shorted the wires to the metal panel, then at least one wire had blown.

You need to test wires and electronic parts that may be affected. Start testing the shorted wires using a multimeter on Ohms to verify that they have continuity between the two ends of the wire.

Stove control panel not working

You do not have a fuse or overload button on a Maytag cook-top. If you heard a pop, it was the touch pad on your control board blowing out.
