Question about HP Compaq nc4000 Notebook
Is there anyway you can show me where i put the usb card in a compaq 4000 (which port) and how best to install it. I ordered the card on-line but the manual with it has no instructions in english.
Ur usb card will slot into ur pcmcia port which is next to ur infrared(look at ur esc button and its around there on side) youll see that it looks smooth but there is a button you press in to release port cover.remove the sleeve and insert card.system should recognise device and install it for u.

There should be a PCMCIA port on the left side under the keyboard. You may have to eject the plastic spacer from the slot. the eject button is to the left of the slot.
