Trying to install and keep getting the following

When you do a WiFi setup of a printer from the ADD PRINTER option; the IP address is automatically located. You do not have to find one. For safe keeping, when you locate the IP address, write time down or do a printout in the event you need that for future use.

To install the Canon PIXMA MP190 Photo All In One Printer driver, download the version of the driver that corresponds to your operating system by clicking on the appropriate link below. A window should then show up asking you where you would like to save the file. Save the driver file somewhere on your computer where you will be easily able to find it, such as your desktop. Then follow the instructions below corresponding to the file type that you downloaded.

Step 1 : Reset Hardware

1. Turn off Canon Pixma iP1900, iP1300 Printers
2. Hold down Resume button and press Power button.
3. Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go.
4. Press Resume button 2 times then let BOTH buttons go.
5. Green lights will flash and then stop blinking.
6. When green lights are solid, press the Resume button 4 times.
7. Press the Power button and the Canon Pixma iP1900, iP1300 Printers should turn off, if not, press the Power button once more.
8. Your Canon Pixma iP1900, iP1300 Printers should respond as normal

These are the steps:
1. Turn On iP1900
2. Push and Hold Resume button about 2 minutes
3. Release Resume button
4. Printer back to normal again

i think you need a canon resetter just download it and it will fix your problem. gud luck ellyhill

Windows 98 is not compatible with your new printer driver. You have to upgrade your operating system to at Windows XP.

There is no such product listed on Canon site. If you can get the correct model number, you can go to the link below and download the drivers.
