Ok, I have looked for a reset button and cannot find it. I took the battery off and looked and there is not one to be found. See my camera stopped working out of the blue immediately after I took a picture and I would really like to have the camera back. It's a Cricket phone, but it is an audiovox 8910. I looked online and it had directions on how to reset it by going to menu and then to "password" but there was no "password" section to click onto. The guy at the Cricket store said he could reset it but I would lose all of my phone numbers, and I didn't want to do that at the time, but now I am ready. HELP!!!
go to security, you will need to enter your code, which is normally the last 4 digits of your cell number ph #
go to option 8 "reset phone" THE SCREEN CAN ONLY SHOW 7 OPTIONS,
so go to option 7 and press down and the screen with option 8 appears, and that is where reset phone is at.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Take the battery out from it compartment. The remote control will reset itself after some time. The re-insert the batteries, and check the remote control for its infra-re emission.
Check it with fresh batteries. Check by pressing all the buttons on it; and see whether all of it generates infrared signal while pressing. If it is found OK, check and replace the infrared sensor inside the TV. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. It has details about how to check a remote control; by one among the post. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ If the remote control is found OK; check and replace the infra-red sensor inside the TV. Contact any service technician.
I took the EL-9300 apart to look for cold solder joints on the battery terminals. Found no bad connections. Make sure you remove all retaining screws.
Cleaned the pc board under the reset button. Cleaned the board under the slide switch that is actuated by the metal battery hold down clip. When you go to turn on the calculator install the hold down clip because it makes a connection to the pc board.
When I pushed the "On" button I got a down arrow. Push the "Reset" button when you get the down arrow. Various menus came up and I managed to reset the calculator.
After reading all the above I took my cover off and found the little fuse. I removed it and it tested ok. I had called Magnavox and they told me there is no fuse or anything like that. I took one last look before throwing it in the trash and there on the circuit board is a little button marked reset. I pushed it and now it works again. So there is both a fuse and a reset button.

It could very well be a problem with a blown fuse/capacitor within the power supply, since these things are smaller it would be a good idea to take it to a local tech to have it opened up and checked out.
One possible solution if this has recently occured is to allow the phone to dry out for a few days.......then attempt to power it up...if it still is not functional at that time you may look into your warranty options.....otherwise you may be buying a new phone.
