Your attachment fails to open means,, either the file is not fully downloaded to inbox,, with the email,, or else it can be like.. there is no appropriate program to open the type of format to open the file..

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Hallmark Card Studio E-mailed Cards Not Reaching Recipients

How do you know it was not delivered - i.e., did the sender receive a return email notice that it was undeliverable or did the recipient receive anything at all? If it was sent and just disappeared, there may have been a problem with the email address. If an "undeliverable" notice was returned to the sender, there may have been a problem with the recipient's server, email program or virus software.

Outlook has several settings which prevent certain types of emails from being delivered or received. It attempts to block anything that looks like spam. For example, emails with too many attachments, certain types of extensions, large picture files, emails being sent out to too many people at a time, etc. Some of these setting can be changed, but some cannot. You don't say which version of Outlook you are using. If it has not worked when you are sending the card directly from the Hallmark program using Outlook as your default email program, you might try opening Outlook and creating an email from there and attaching the card.

The source of the problem could also be the virus software of the sender or the receiver.

Your default email might need to be changed

Open up your new email type in the adress then you should see attachment depending on which email you are using select attachment then you will open up a browse window navigate to your photo/attachment where you have saved it (my pictures) most common select it you might have to wait a few seconds for it to load as an attachment then click send Hope this helps.

I can't open the Address Book of Outlook Express 6 and i can't sent email

First you have to make sure that the letters do have a basis, that is to view the contents of the file "Sent Items (1) .dbx" and "Sent Items (1) .bak". This lead to the many programs, such as, Recovery Toolbox for Outlook Express, http://www.outlookexpress.recoverytoolbox.com/ but it is possible and Total Commander plugins.
Next to act on the results.
Come to this forum, here is written in more detail about your problem: http://www.filerepairforum.com/forum/microsoft/microsoft-aa/outlook-express/395-something-wrong-with-outlook-express-how-to-fix-it

Can one only use Outlook Express for email attachment with HP Scan Jet G3110

If Outlook Express is your "preferred Email", when you email a scanned image, it is sent by Outlook Express. The sender's name displayed is the user listed in the Outlook Express (whose User name is used to get into the Outlook Exp).
If anyone else want to send it in their name:
This is what you have to do:
Save the scanned image somewhere in the computer.
Goto your Yahoo mail, or Hotmail or Google mail (create a free account if you don't have your own email account) and send the scan as an attachment. Hope this will work for you.

Unable to download attachments from my home computer.

If you are you using Outlook Express open it and click on tools at the top of the main window. From the drop down menu click on options. Next click on the security tab at the top of the options window. You will see a heading that reads " Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus." Uncheck the box next to it. This could be the problem if you are using Outlook Express.

If you are using another Email Application I would need to know which one it is to help you with this. But with any Email application there should be a security setting like the one I have mentioned in Outlook Express.

This problem could also arise from the Virus protection you are using on your computer. I am using McAfee and it auto scan an email message to see if it has a virus.

If you are using McAfee just ope the application and click on Email and IM. Then click on the word Configure. Click on both Off buttons in the next window that opens.

I hope this works for you but it is very important to remember to turn on these security settings if you want to open an attachment that you do not recognize. You do not want to receive a virus.

Also some Internet providers do not allow large attachments to be sent or received. If you cannot find anything relating to this on your providers home page just give them a call.

Winmail to Outlook express 6

Outlook Express does not display any message attachments if TNEF-encoded file (winmail.dat) was received. If you are expecting some attachment, but do not see any, it still can be there.

To decode such a message perform the following steps:
  1. Save the whole e-mail message to an *.EML file via File, Save As, or Drag-and-drop.
  2. Open the *.EML file in a text editor such as Wordpad or Notepad.
  3. Locate the line Content-Type: application/ms-tnef;, and change the Content subtype to something else, such as Content-Type: application/zzz;
  4. Locate the line name="winmail.dat" and change to name="winmail.tnf". You may change the winmail part as well, if desired.
  5. Save the *.EML file from the text editor.
  6. Double click the *.EML file from the Windows File Explorer. This will open the message in a mail window and the TNEF attachment should now be available for saving.
  7. Drag the saved attachment into the Winmail Opener program. Decoded attachments will then be there and can be dragged or opened.
