The best solution is to put a stand pipe on the wall connected to the foul water drain , make sure there is a U bend in it to stop smells

The top of the standpipe must be higher than the top of the door and also must be bigger in diameter than the outside diameter of the drain hose (This will prevent syphoning).

Some newer plumbing systems have a dedicated inlet on them for washers and all you need to make sure of is that there is enough hieght between the hose connection to the waste and the water level of the machine, you will sharp know if it is wrong because the washer will go into rinse cycle and will not stop filling

Hello, problem here is the spin control board is bad. Remove panel under the door and you can locate the spin control at the rear right of the machine screwed to the floor. Replace it and you will be all set. Mike

Washer spin but water do not stay in drum

Hi,

Sounds like your drain is laying on the floor, or your stand pipe is too low, or the drain hose is too far down in the stand pipe. The drain must be at least as hi as your water level in the machine at it's fullest level, otherwise it will just siphons out almost as quickly as it fills.

Hope that helps,

Good Luck.

Goes through cycle, but doesn't drain. Will drain manually

Hi, Sounds like it could be timer. Does the timer advance to the off position? There could be a partial plug in the hose or pump also. You can add water again and then go to spin cycle. Lift the drain hose out of the drain pipe just enough that you can see the water flow. You should see water draining out with a bit of force and the stream should be the sizt of the drain hose.
I hope this helps you. Please let me know if I can be of more assistance.

Thanks
Vic

Washer fills up than starts draining while in wash cycle

Hello , here is the fix-your drain hose is placed to low in the drain line in the wall, it can not be placed in water or it will siphon the water out of your washer into the drain pipe and it wont stop until it hits air. try pulling your drain hose up and out of the drain and get a zip tie or cable and tie it to one of the water valves by the drain pipe placing the end of the drain hose about 5-6 inches inside the drain pipe. Let me know if you have any other questions and good luck it will work.

Frigidaire front load washer won't drain or spin

This often is a drain hose that is too low or a drain hose that has been pushed too far down inside the stand pipe....the water is actually siphoning out of the washer. Do not "seal" the drain hose to the house plumbing pipe, this will also allow the water to be siphoned out.
