Re: motorola razorv3xx ringtones

Did you lose any other info like your contacts or photos? Do you synch your phone up with your computer with the Motorola Phone Tools?

If you lost other information, it sounds like your phone reset itself. When this happens, typically the phone will be like new, out of the box, with no (or very little) information on it that you had added. If this is the case, there is no way to retrieve the lost songs.

I know that Cingular/AT&T allows you to download purchased files only for 24 hours after the sale. Other carriers may have longer grace periods, I'm not sure.

Unable to upload my own ringtones from my computer

If you have the music on your computer you can send it in a message to the phone and then open the message and apply it as "use as ring tone". Or if you have an old phone that allows you to down load it to the phone directly, then you can send it from that phone in a message to the other phone, open and apply as "ring tone".

Motorola V750 cant get ringtones for free?

You can txt yourself the sound and when you receive the txt you save it as a ringtone. If you have a computer with bluetooth capability you can send ringtones that you can make yourself through bluetooth. I use, make my own and transfer them to my phone. If anyone else wants the ringtone I just txt it to them. I just did about 18 ringtones for my husband and he has the motorola adventure v750.

Message tone

settings-ring styles-loud detail/soft detail/vibe detail-inbox then scroll down and find a ringtone. while in "loud detail" scroll down and make sure the Ringer IDs are ON. now you can personalize every callers ringtone and message tone.

you cant use recorded files as ringtones. they dont give you the option so that you are forced to pay for them but try this website you can make your own ringtones then send them to you phone via. your home computer.

Ring tones

You'll need a loader program. You can go to and look for UFNJal. It's the only TRUE offline loader for iDEN phones. It is VERY easy to use(drag & drop which no other loader for iDEN phones has). It also has the current drivers needed to make your computer recognize your phone.

The ringtones will need to be in the right format in order for them to work. It can use MP3 ringtones. They need to be no longer than 30 seconds, and must be 32kbps, 8-bit, mono.

Go to Main Menu > My Stuff > Media Finder > Music > All Songs (genre, etc) > Options > Select Mulitple To > Add to Play List > (Select every tune you want to use as a ringtone) > Done

this should allow you to use it as a ringtone. In other words, you have to select it, to use it, downloading it isn't enough. Good Luck.

Ringer ID won't work

If this doesnt work then your phone must be possesed..
1. Go to your phone book.  Choose a contact.
2. Go to options. Then Edit Contact.
3. Now scroll down all the way to Ringer ID:__ and hit select it.
4. You should see a list of songs  and sounds like silent, Vibe Dot.. etc
5. Scroll down until you want the ringer for that contact.
6. Once you found the ringtone hit select it.  You should now have the ringtone for that contact.  NOW hit "DONE" or it will not work!  If you dont hit done it will use the DEFAULT ringtone provided by the phone.  Also, if you have a memory card in your KRZR k1 and all your songs are on the memory card you wont be able to use it, move them to your phone memory so you can choose it from the list. also can give you free ringtones too.. check it out.
